CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

In his last appearance at Loretta Lynn’s in 2012, Savatgy won two out of three motos in the 450 A Class. A 9th place finish in the opening moto kept him from having a shot at the win, but Savatgy still found himself on the podium in 3rd overall.

When J-Star JDR KTM was looking to start up an amateur program, Savatgy was recommended to them by MTF owner Colleen Millsaps. They liked what they saw from the young rider at a testing session at Glen Helen and brought him onboard.

Savatgy raced for the J-Star JDR KTM team in his first pro season, 2013, and turned some heads at the opening Supercross rounds with a couple top-ten results in the 250 West region. When that team folder at the end of the Supercross season, a new team – FMF/Orange Brigade/KTM – was created specifically for him in time for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Savatgy moved to the Rockstar Energy Racing KTM team for his sophomore season in 2014. He then switched to the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team for 2015.
