CAMPING INFORMATION

There are several camping areas and spaces at Gatorback. Individual campsites are not assigned and you will be parked as you arrive.  There is NOT an additional fee for camping unless you purchase a hookup or arrive “early” (see below) .  You may only park in a hookup site if you have purchased a hookup.  Camping starts Saturday, November 19th and ends Sunday morning, November 27.  We certainly welcome early parking for riders.  The early parking fee is $50.  Early parking starts on Saturday, November 12th and gates will be open during DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY FOR EARLY PARKING. Do not use or take up space for more than one site.  Do not save spaces.

GATE FEES AND TIMES

  • Before Wednesday, November 23rd 6:00am – $65/person
  • Between Wednesday 6:00am – Thursday 6:00am – -$55/person
  • Between Thursday 6:00am – Friday 6:00am – $50/person
  • Between Friday 6:00am – Saturday 6:00am – $30/person
  • After Saturday 6:00am – $20/person

Gates will only be open during business hours (9am – 5pm) for early parking.  Beginning Friday, November 18th the gates will be open 24/7.

All motorhomes/vehicles must stop at the gate and purchase armbands for each person/rider prior to entering Gatorback.  Once you have purchased your armband(s), it is good for the remainder of the week.  You must wear your armband the entire time you are at the event.  If you lose your armband you will need to purchase another one.  If your armband is worn or broken, we will replace it, but you must bring it to the front gate to get a new one.

One day passes are not available.

You do not have to pay an additional camping fee unless you arrive early or have purchased a hookup.

 

RACE ENTRY FEES

  • Amateur Pre Entry $90/class & Post entry $110/class
  • Pro/A and Women’s Pro (WMX) Entry $110/ class & Post entry $130/class
  • Women’s Pro (WMX) Series Race Requires a WMX license from MX Pro
  • $10,000 pro purse, paid in main event finish in SX & MX
  • AMA Pro Am Points earned in SX and MX  (refer to AMA website or details)
  • Unlimited Sports Membership is required. Membership fee is $25.
  • AMA Membership is required.  AMA Memberships can be purchased in advance of the AMA website.
  • Transponders are required.  If you do not own a transponder,  you will need to rent one at the track prior to going to registration.  Please visit Escore for more information.

  • Mini O’s Registration from 11am – 5pm

Sunday November 20th                 Registration by last name: 9:30am – 5:00pm

A – D      9:30am – 11:00am

E – J     11:00am – 12:30pm

P – S       2:00pm – 3:30pm

If you do not make registration on Sunday, you MUST come to registration Monday morning prior to your practice on Monday

If you are racing MX only, you can register at the office any day you arrive

***MINORS 17 YRS OLD AND YOUNGER:  Parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult must be with rider at sign up to complete the minor release form. If you are not the natural parent of the rider, you must bring a notarized parental consent form to sign up. There are no exceptions. You can go to the release forms tab on the home page and get a parental consent form and a minor release form. THIS FORM MUST BE NOTARIZED AND WE WILL KEEP ORIGINAL AT SIGN-UP.

 Our 50 Classes are stock (limited) classes.  Please refer to the AMA Rule Book.

The 50cc 4-8 class is not an AMA specified class.  We added this class so 50s would have an additional class to ride for their age group.  This class is open to 50s that are allowed in the AMA 4-6 Limited class and AMA 7-8 Limited Class.

 

2016 Women’s Motocross (WMX) – This year the Women’s Professional Motocross Championship (WMX), an AMA National Championship, features the world’s fastest female outdoor motocross racers will conclude their 10-round series here at the Winter Olympics in November.

The Thor Winter Olympics Presented by Pro Circuit (Mini Os) is an AMA sanctioned event.  Under AMA rules, a rider’s age on January 1st will determine their age for the remainder of the year, as long as the rider has not raced in the next higher age class.

Olympiad Divisional – Awarded to the rider who participates in both supercross and motocross and accumulates the most points.  Points are calculated by taking the better of your Limited or Mod in supercross added to the better of your Limited or Mod in motocross.  (Maximum points you can earn is 50)

Olympiad Non-Divisional – Awarded to the rider who participates in both supercross and motocross and accumulates the most points for supercross and motocross combined.  (Maximum points you can earn is 50)

Supercross Champion – 

  • Divisional – Awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points within their division in the Limited and Mod classes in main event finishes.  Qualifying races will be used for tie breakers. (Maximum points you can earn is 50)
  • Non-Divisional – Awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points within their specific non-divisional class in the main event finish. (Maximum points you can earn is 25)

Motocross Champion –  

  • Divisional – Awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points within their division in the Limited and Mod classes for overall in motocross.  Motos will be used for tie breakers.  (Maximum points you can earn is 50)
  • Non-Divisional – Awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points within their specific non-divisional class for overall in motocross.  (Maximum points you can earn is 25)

Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe Award – Awarded to the rider in all divisions (divisions 1-13) that accumulates the highest number of points, combined in both supercross and motocross.

Scott Golden Goggle Award – Awarded to the rider in the Amateur (B & C) class divisions (division 8-11) that accumulates the highest number of points, combined in both supercross and motocross.

Dunlop Silver Tire Award – Awarded to the rider in the Pro/A class divisions (division 12-13) that accumulates the highest number of points, combined in both supercross and motocross.

Fox Bronze Boot Award – Awarded to the rider in the Youth class divisions (65cc, 85cc, Mini Sr., Supermini, and Schoolboy classes – division 1-7) that accumulates the highest number of points, combined in both supercross and motocross.

Vet Masters Award – Awarded to the rider in the Vet, Senior and Masters classes non-divisions (Junior 25+, Vet 30+, Vet 35+, Sr 40+, Sr 45+, Masters 50+, and Masters 55+) that accumulates the highest number of points combined in both supercross and motocross.

Nihlo Prodigy Award –  Awarded to the 50cc rider in all 50 classes that accumulates the highest number of points, combined in both Supercross and Motocross

Thor Outstanding Achievement Award – Selected by an industry panel selected at race

Asterisk Ironman Award – Selected by an industry panel selected at race

Diamond Award – This award recognizes a rider who exemplifies late Jantz Grodzicki’s love and dedication to the motocross sport.  This award will be presented to a “B” or “C” rider that creates a positive impact, is humble, acts as a role model for others and represents his or her sponsors well.  The recipient of this award must ride both supercross and motocross and the rider is required to write an essay (information for the essay can be obtained at Moto Tees).  We are looking for that one-of-a-kind rider… the “Diamond in the Rough”!

Mechanic of the Year Award – This award honors the mechanic who has made an outstanding contribution to his rider and/or team this year and has gone above and beyond the call of duty.  The mechanic exemplifies their love and dedication to not only the rider he supports but to the motocross sport. The mechanic must be nominated by the rider or team in a written essay explaining what sets your mechanic apart from the rest.  Essay must be turned in by Friday and the winner will be selected by a selected industry panel.

Supercross points are earned on main event finish

Tie breakers are determined by the rider with the most wins, 1st , 2nd  , 3rd etc.  If still tied, stock classes carry most weight 

Any questions regarding Awards or Points need to be brought to Debbie Renner at the Unlimited Sports Office prior to the end of racing on Saturday.

 

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Pit Pass Fee  $40 at the gate
  • There is not a camping fee if you do not have a hook up.
  • You will be parked in the order you arrive at the track.  If you would like to pit with someone else, you will need to arrive with them so you can be parked together.
  • Riders and Mechanics must have your armband and mechanic pass when you enter the staging area for practice and racing.
  • There is a pump out service that provides holding tank pump out daily for a fee.  Do not dump gray or black water on the ground.
  • There is a fuel, oil, solvent dump station at the front gate.  Do not dump oil, gas, or solvent on the ground.
  • Non-Potable water fill truck will be available to fill your tank for a fee.
  • Pit Bike Shutdown at dark – Absolutely No Pit Bike riding after dark
  • No loud noise after dark
  • No open fires
  • No fireworks
  • No vending of merchandise or services without prior written permission from Unlimited Sports.  If you would like to vend, please contact us by email for your request.
  • Gates will be open 24 hours/day all week starting Saturday, November 19th
  • Radio Station is 88.9 FM
  • Shipping Packages:  Both UPS and Federal Express deliver to Gatorback.  THE USPS DOES NOT DELIVER TO THE TRACK.  Package pickup is located next to the front gate and you MUST have a picture ID to pick up packages.  Please do not have packages delivered prior to Thursday, November 17th .  Unlimited Sports MX is not responsible for the safekeeping of any packages.   Address packages clearly:
